Train Station Alert

Tired of falling asleep on the train and missing your stop?

Train Station Alert is an app that allows you to enter in any Train Station in the world! and be alerted within a given distance before arriving at your destination.

(App can also be used to enter in any address / zip code/ country etc)

Alerts are sent to your Android Wearable device and your Android phone.

Train Station Alert provides information on your current location and allows you to setup an automatic friend alert that will send out a text message to one or more friends who are expecting you, as you approach your destination. So when the alarm sounds, a text message is sent to your added friend alert!

Using Samsung Galaxy S4 with Jellybean 4.2 and TalkBack 3.4. Tested the app today and only got it to work 1/3. There seems to be a problem with persistence. If the app is either not in the foreground, or the phone is not used for a while, the app seems to stop functioning and even disappears from the task manager. When I reloaded the app manually it was as if no journey had been previously set. Could this be investigated please? The only time the app worked I had great difficulty muting the alarm. Unlike when the phone rings normally, I could not hear the TalkBack screen reader at all thus had no idea where to press to cancel the alarm. This behaviour is different to when using TalkBack with all other audio apps e.g. music. Suggestions: 1. Have an option to allow the same keys used to answer phone calls to cancel the alarm. 2. Have an option to change the ringtone used for the alarm. Thanks as always for your efforts, and looking forward to testing updates as they become available.
